Project description
Our construction and project management teams produced a comprehensive plan including back-up generation for the duration of the project to ensure that no residents (many of whom are elderly and vulnerable) had any power outage. We installed 3 Caterpillar natural gas fired reciprocating engines totaling 4.8 MW. Overall efficiency was increased, with associated carbon emission reductions. The 1,800 high-rise residences, shopping arcade, movie theater, and fitness center that make up the North Shore Towers community know that they can rely on resilient on-site thermal and electrical energy.
