The district will include 12,000 homes, 300 acres of public space, 500,000 sq. ft. of retail and 3,000,000 sq. ft. of research and development space when complete. The sustainable energy system on the site will be one of the first of its kind in the US and involved partnerships with multiple stakeholders including the SF Public Utilities Commission. Our sustainable master plan includes a 450,000 gallons per day water recycling system, 15-20 MW rooftop solar PV, 15,000 ton geothermal district energy system as well as energy storage, EV charging and self-sustaining street lighting.
